To visit
Around the Estate, perched villages, exceptional geological sites, lavender fields as far as the eye can see. The region reveals itself slowly, between markets and viewpoints.
5 min A typical small Provençal town, its Monday morning market is one of the oldest and most renowned. The Citadel and its Carillon offer a 360° view. Also: the Artemisia museum at the Cordeliers Convent, the biscuit factory, the distilleries (Pastis Henri Bardouin, Rinquinquin, Farigoule, Gentiane de Lure).
30 min At 500m altitude, the citadel overlooks the town from a rocky spur. This Vauban military structure is an incredible place — breathtaking views over the Durance and Southern Alps.
25 min An immense sea of lavender, the Valensole plateau is one of the largest in France. Bloom from mid-June to mid-July — the fields become a purple ocean as far as the eye can see.
1 h Spectacular landscapes, ideal for hiking, kayaking, climbing or paragliding. Lake Esparron is perfect for electric boats or canoeing.
